Hello! My name is Jim Spachman, and I have been blessed to be a State Farm Agent for thirty-one years in the Bloomington-Normal area. My career started as a commercial underwriter and then as a fire claims adjuster where I helped local State Farm customers with their claim losses. I also traveled to other areas to adjust the damage from the devastation caused by Earthquakes, Tornado's, and Hurricanes. It was an eye-opening experience, and it was there that I found a passion for helping customers and saw the importance of having the correct amount of insurance coverage.

I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Illinois State University and met my wife, Lisa, our freshman year! Lisa is a retiree of State Farm, and we are blessed with 3 amazing children: Abby, Carrie, and Jimmy and three wonderful granddaughters!

Our family has been members of St. Patrick’s Church for 42 years. Lisa and I enjoy volunteering for the local Boys & Girls Club and are regular servers at the Salvation Army. Athletics has been a constant in our personal and business life. We enjoy encouraging kids in the community to participate in athletics & academics through sponsorships and awards. I am huge fan of “Da Bears”, enjoy working out and hiking, followed by a pizza and beverage!

Team Spachman is a large Agency! Our 12 full time staff members have many years of experience, are energized and ready to help find the right level of coverage for your personal and business needs. It is very important to me that our team provides exceptional service while having fun!

While our office has been awarded the President’s Club 28 times, Chairman's Club 22 consecutive years and Ambassadors Travel 31 consecutive years, those recognitions are not our goal.
